Frequently Asked Questions
Our Spirits | Method & Muse
What spirits does Method & Muse Spirits produce?
What are amari?
Amari (the plural of amaro) refer to a very broad category of bittersweet Italian liqueurs, made by infusing alcohol with various herbal and other ingredients. They are often served as a digestif. They range from dry and very bitter, like Fernet-Branca and Campari, to very sweet limoncello.
Our amari are packed with botanical flavors and have a lower sugar content than many traditional Italian amari. If you prefer yours sweeter, simply add simple syrup to taste.
Can I join a bottle club or membership program?
Yes. Our Wildcrafters Bottle Club features exclusive quarterly releases, events, and members-only perks, such as discounts every time you visit our Arvada distillery tasting room.

Yes. You can take our cocktails to go to enjoy in the Arvada designated drinking zone.
Is your cocktail lounge / tasting room family friendly?
Absolutely! As a Colorado distillery tasting room instead of a bar, we welcome accompanied children of any age. We even have a box of games and toys for children. Additionally, there are changing tables in both of our restrooms. (Of course, guests must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcohol in our tasting room.)
How can we learn more about the cocktail lounge’s live plant collection?
We incorporate plants that reflect the botanicals in our spirits into our tasting room. When designing the tasting room, we sought out the opposite of a dark, austere space and intentionally worked to design a space where guests would feel welcome and find community and joy. The result reflects our company’s identity, from our love of flavor to our team’s scientific curiosity and expertise. At the front and back of the tasting room you’ll find a display of the botanicals incorporated into our Floral Alchemy Gin and our Bartender’s Salute. A book with more information on our plants is coming soon!

What is your favorite part about a wedding?
Like perfume makers, we know memory is intrinsically tied to smell and taste at the deepest level. Our spirits and event space are inspired by the core of a relationship: shared adventures, friendship, joy, and belonging. We carefully pick each botanical element to reflect an experience, place, or cuisine style to help you recall memories of the good times in life, and make to new ones. In the case of custom spirits, we craft a new recipe to reflect your story as a couple to take you back to your fondest memories of one another. Our favorite part of a wedding is seeing a couple and their close circle make new memories with our spirits, knowing that the next time they enjoy a familiar sip, they’ll find themselves transported back to that feeling of love and community.
Custom Spirits | Method & Muse
How long does the process take?
Most custom spirits projects require 4–8 weeks from consultation to production, depending on the package selected, materials that need to be sourced, and label approval timing by the state regulator.
Can you create a spirit from scratch?
Yes! We offer both adapted expressions of our existing spirits and fully custom formulations developed from the ground up.
What occasions are custom spirits ideal for?
Custom spirits are ideal for corporate gifting, restaurant collaborations, milestone celebrations, brand launches, and weddings.
What does the package price include?
Package pricing includes consultation, formulation development, test batches (if applicable to the package you selection), and state-compliant label design. Bottles are purchased separately according to the selected program.
Why is there a minimum bottle requirement?
Custom distillation involves formation, ordering of ingredients, dedicated still time, and regulatory approval. Minimums ensure production quality and consistency while preserving the integrity of the spirit.
